Outside Sales Representative

Wurth Baer Supply Co. is a large distributor to the woodworking industry with a presence in the Midwest and Northeast markets. We are currently seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Representative to represent our company to customer accounts in the Arthur, IL area (Central Illinois).
This territory consists of established accounts that are unique to the geographic area; an individual familiar with this particular customer base is preferred. In this outside sales role you will be responsible for managing the current customers, growing sales, and breaking into new accounts. Ideal candidates are independent and self-motivated. You will treat your territory as if it is your own business, and therefore need to be organized, reliable, and have great follow up skills.
Qualified candidates will have 2 years of demonstrated success in outside sales/account management experience, preferably in the industrial sales or distribution arena.
Professional and polished with excellent communication skills, plus a strong desire to succeed and grow financially.
Successful Outside Sales professionals have excellent follow-up skills and are able to maintain a high level of organization, while balancing many tasks.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred as well as strong Excel skills.
Ability to work from home office

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
