RN - Clinical Risk Manager - Now Hiring
This position will provide services to the Urbana and Bloomington campuses.
In consultation with CRIMCO Manager of Risk Management and Patient Relations and assisted by the Risk Management Coordinator, is responsible for investigating and analyzing actual and potential risks at The Carle Foundation and its subsidiaries, including but not limited to Carle Foundation Hospital and Carle Physician Group.
Salary:
$39 per hourEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
In consultation with CRIMCO Manager of Risk Management and Patient Relations and assisted by the Risk Management Coordinator, is responsible for investigating and analyzing actual and potential risks at The Carle Foundation and its subsidiaries, including but not limited to Carle Foundation Hospital and Carle Physician Group.
- Assists with development of risk managements plans for the organizations.
- Coordinates and/or conducts educational sessions/seminars for healthcare staff on risk management topics.
- Determines appropriate level of investigation for reported incidents and claims.
- Develops and implements risk management policies and procedures.
- Works with Quality department to review, analyze and summarize data for trends indicating risk issues.
- Conducts claims investigations and evaluations utilizing, when necessary, external consultants, internal staff and/or committees.
- Coordinates risk assessments of the various Carle entities and develops/monitors action plans to address areas of risk.
- Assists with the planning and implementing an organization-wide program for risk reduction and loss prevention.
Salary:
